What case study writing covers here.
Case study writing is the interviewing, drafting and approval of a customer story. The story shows how a buyer like your prospect solved a problem with your product. This case study writing service covers the customer interview, the draft, the sales formats and the approval round, for SaaS and B2B service companies.
Clients include Vodafone, Capgemini, Diageo, Sanofi, Shopware, Hailo and Fiverr.
Why case studies stall, and what gets them moving.
-
Our customers are happy. Getting them to sign off on a case study takes months.
Approval stalls when a customer is handed marketing copy about themselves. This draft is built from their own interview, so their review is a quick check of quotes they gave. That is a much easier thing to approve.
-
Our case studies all say the customer was very satisfied. No numbers.
Customers rarely give numbers in an email. On a call they do. The interview is planned to surface one number, and the headline is built on it.
-
Sales never uses the case studies marketing writes.
A long web page is hard to paste into a proposal or a follow-up email. Each case study also comes in short formats a sales rep can send as they are.
Six steps, two of them yours.
You choose the story and check the draft. I run the interview, the writing, the customer's approval and the sales formats.
Pick the story
Your stepA 20-minute call with you: which customer, which prospect the story should convince, and which number would make that prospect call. Then you send one introduction email, and I take it from there.
The customer interview
Your customerA recorded call, with the questions sent ahead. I ask about the situation before, the moment they decided, what changed, and what they would tell a peer.
The kind of questions I askDraft
WritingA results headline, a two-line summary and four short sections with one quote each. The customer tells the story, and your product appears as the tool they chose.
Your review
Your stepOne round of comments in the document, mostly on product accuracy and naming. The tone comes from the customer's own words.
Customer approval
Customer's teamI send the draft to your customer with a cover note that makes approving easy, and I handle any changes. I follow up so you do not have to.
Sales-ready formats
With the finalEvery format arrives with the approved final, ready for the site, proposals and slides.

Pull quotes
Short enough for a slide, a proposal or your homepage.
An opening spread.
Nordfracht Software sells route-planning tools to regional carriers. Every new carrier needed six weeks and two on-site visits before the first route ran. The bottleneck was data: each carrier's depot list arrived in a different format, and someone at Nordfracht cleaned it by hand.
“We were paying an engineer to fix spreadsheets. Now the carrier uploads the file, sees the errors, and fixes them before anyone here looks at it.”
Nordfracht switched its import step to a validation tool in March. The first carrier onboarded in the new flow was running routes nine days later, with no site visit. By June, the onboarding team had moved from four people to two, and the two had started selling.

Need more than case studies? Website copy, white papers and SEO articles are covered under B2B copywriting services.
A good fit
- You sell software or B2B services with results a customer can describe: time saved, cost avoided, revenue gained, a deadline met.
- At least one customer will agree to a call. Two or three is better, so you can pick the strongest story.
- Your sales team has asked for proof to send, or your website has a testimonials section and no stories.
- You want a series over time, so each new segment or product gets its own story.
Probably not
- No customer is willing to talk, named or anonymized. Without a customer's voice, the result reads like a product page.
- The result cannot be described in a sentence a prospect would care about.
- You want the story written from your CRM notes alone.
Before you introduce me to a customer.
What is the right format for a B2B case study?
Start with a results headline and a two-line summary. Then write four short sections: the situation, why they chose you, what changed, and advice to a peer. Use one quote per section.
Can you write a case study if the customer will not be named?
Yes. An anonymized case study (a mid-sized logistics company in Germany) still works if the numbers and the story are specific. The interview is run the same way. Prospects can check a named story, so it is worth asking the customer first.
How long does a case study take?
Writing starts at five days, from the customer interview to the final draft. Booking the interview depends on your customer's calendar, and approval speed depends on their team. The schedule is agreed up front.
What does a case study cost?
Pricing starts at $100 per 500 words. Every project gets a fixed fee, quoted in writing after the free review or a 30-minute call. The final price depends on the number of case studies, the number of calls and the deadline. No hourly billing, no retainer.
Do you use AI?
Yes. The work is AI-powered, which is a big part of why a case study moves from interview to draft quickly. AI handles the heavy lifting on keyword data, competitor pages, interview transcripts and first structures, so more of the time goes into the calls with your team and the argument. Prefer copy written without AI tools? That is available too. It simply takes longer. How AI fits the method
Do you write case studies for students or academic courses?
No. This service is for companies documenting customer results. Academic case study assignments are a different task and are not offered here.
